Dylan Cable Ph.D.
Bio: Dylan Cable is an Assistant Professor in Biostatistics at the University of Michigan. Dylan specializes in developing statistical and computational methods for emerging high-throughput genomics technologies including single-cell RNA-sequencing and spatial transcriptomics. He completed his PhD in 2023 in Computer Science at MIT, supported by the Hertz and NSF fellowships, where he developed statistical methods for cell type and differential expression identification in spatial transcriptomics. Prior to MIT, Dylan completed his undergraduate degree in mathematics at Stanford in 2018, where he pursued research in probability theory and computational neuroscience.
Publications:
Detection of allele-specific expression in spatial transcriptomics with spASE.
The molecular cytoarchitecture of the adult mouse brain.
The cell type composition of the adult mouse brain revealed by single cell and spatial genomics.
