The SCSAP Trainee Forum was created for trainees who are interested in the development of methodologies for the analysis of single-cell and spatial data as well as the successful application of these technologies. Meetings will provide a space where trainees can discuss their work, with opportunities to troubleshoot their current projects and discover new collaborations.

MIDAS Challenge Grant funds study of single cells

Research led by a team of scientists from across U-M makes the analysis of individual cells possible, unlocking potential advancements in biology research and other disciplines. The study team used seed money from a Michigan Institute for Data Science Challenge Grant to generate more than $37 million in funding.

Our program is lead by a team of 6 distinguished faculty representing departments all across campus including Biomedical Engineering, Cell and Developmental Biology, Chemical Engineering, Computational medicine and Bioinformatics, Engineering health sciences, Human Genetics, pathology and Urology in an effort to bring the single cell and spatial analysis research community together.
