Center for RNA Biomedicine
The University of Michigan Center for RNA Biomedicine brings together RNA scientists whose passion and research are at the frontier of RNA discoveries. With over 160 faculty and their affiliated labs across seven Schools and Colleges of the University of Michigan (U-M), the Center for RNA Biomedicine is one of the leading RNA research communities in the world.

The Bioinformatics Core
helps researchers identify and interpret patterns in RNA and DNA by placing sequencing data into a biologically meaningful context. This encompasses assisting with experimental design, developing reproducible workflows, analyzing next-generation sequencing data, and supporting manuscript development/publication.

Technologies

Spatial Transcriptomics

10X GENOMICS VISIUM
Visium Gene Expression system offers tools that enable a person to do whole transcriptome analysis on a tissue section. There are a variety of ways you can opt to use the platform and work with the Advanced Genomics Core.

NANOSTRING GEOMX DSP
NanoString’s GeoMx Digital Spatial Profiler (DSP) combines spatial and molecular profiling technologies by generating digital whole transcriptome or protein expression data for up to 4 tissue slides per day.
